| We are located in Southern Central Illinois. We are very close to the crossroads of 3 major interstates, I-70, I-57, & I-55. |
| We are approximately 30 miles West of the intersection of I-70 & I-57 in Effingham,IL and about 70 miles East of St. Louis and the intersection of I-70 & I-55 in Troy, IL. If you are heading west on I-70, get off at St. Elmo on exit #76. Travel north for about 1/4 mile to Highway 40. Turn left and watch for signs. (about 5 miles) If you are heading east on I-70, get off at the Brownstown/Bluff City exit, #68. This will put you on Highway 40. Turn left off of the ramp and watch for signs. (about 6 miles) Take Highway 40 between St. Elmo & Brownstown to the Avena Road. There will be a blue "Tourist Activities" sign on the highway with "Bear Tracks Chainsaw Carving" on it. Travel north on the Avena Road for 5 miles and you will have arrived in Bear Country. Feel free to contact us to let us know you are coming or to set up an appointment.
